Our Safe Haven:
Online Support Session for Professionals Coping with Client Re-Offense or Revocation 

Are you a professional coping with the aftermath of a client’s re-offense or revocation? Don’t go through this alone—connect with others who understand.

Join Safer Society for a one-hour support group session led by Jill Levenson and David Prescott, two well-known professionals with decades of clinical experience who, like many in the field, have experienced clients re-offend and/or return to incarceration. They have also worked with supervisees who have gone through the aftermath of these circumstances and understand what professionals can go through. Each Our Safe Haven session will provide attendees with a safe, non-threatening space to create connections with those who have similar experiences.

In each session, we will explore subjects that are meaningful to the participants, such as:

• Navigating systemic issues that arise in the wake of a client’s re-offense or revocation.
• Coming to terms with the impact of re-offense or revocation on one’s self and the client’s loved ones.
• Regaining one’s confidence after suffering a significant professional setback.
• Moving forward professionally.
• The importance of self-care and advocating for oneself.

To ensure that each session is workable, we will limit the number of attendees. Registration for each session will, therefore, be on a first-come-first-served basis. We are charging a non-refundable fee of $8.00 to reserve your spot. 

Each session will run from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm ET. Our upcoming sessions have been scheduled for:

• February 2nd
• March 15th

Your personal privacy is our highest priority. These sessions will be recorded for liability purposes only. The recordings will not be shared with attendees or distributed outside of Safer Society Foundation.

Like any group discussion, everyone will have a responsibility to keep it a safe, professional, and confidential space. We will adhere to the codes of ethics of our professions, mandatory laws, and other professional standards. The Safe Haven series is intended to be supportive; not formal supervision, consultation, or legal advice.
