On April 19, the Howard Center of Burlington, Vermont, hosted their first in-person annual conference since the pandemic. The day-long event was held at the Double Tree hotel in South Burlington, and featured a slate of five outstanding speakers discussing the conference theme: Breaking Barriers: Finding Purpose and Possibilities Together.
Safer Society was pleased to join the other sponsors of the conference greeting attendees in the exhibit area. Local TV station Channel Five was there for the story and talked with our own Sarah Haskell and Alison Walter. See the video and read the story here:
Sarah reports that there was a great deal of energy at the event, as people seemed excited to meet once more in person. The evident enthusiasm for Safer Society’s initiatives was reflected by the many people who stopped by the exhibit table.
We want to congratulate the Howard Center for an excellent and successful event.
