Nathan LaChine has been a therapeutic foster parent for the last 18 years, specializing in early childhood traumas. Nathan’s current role as a member of the board of directors and webmaster for MaleSurvivor (an international membership organization dedicated to men who are healing from abuse) involves the oversight of the volunteer staff along with the daily operations of the site, which sees over 100,000 visitors and 2.5 million pages views annually. Nathan cohosted a local radio show, “Real Family Matters,” a live resource show for community members to call in and ask questions.

Nathan is also a community educator, providing training and resources for caregivers in Washington state. He is also a community activist for foster parents and youth in care here in Washington State, as well as an author, speaker, and trainer on a wide range of topics.
