Kristin Dempsey is a psychotherapist, counselor educator and motivational interviewing trainer based in the Bay Area. Kristin’s work focuses on providing recovery and person-driven mental health care and building individual and organizational wellness. In addition to her clinical and teaching work, Kristin provides organizational consultation for health care organizations seeking to improve implementation of best practices to support trauma informed and recovery-oriented care. She is an Associate Professor at the Wright Institute’s Counseling Psychology Program in Berkeley, California, and lecturing faculty at San Francisco State University.
