We have always liked Bryan’s definition of Thanksgiving, but acknowledging our dependence seems especially important in 2020. Social distancing has made clear how dependent we are on one another. While the pandemic might keep us from our families this year, we nevertheless give thanks for our loved ones and for our communities and neighbors. Love is not diminished by distance.
