The founder of Safer Society, Fay Honey Knopp, was among the pioneers who shaped the field of sexual abuser treatment in the 1980s. It was Fay’s belief that sexual abuse was a cycle of harm that must be curtailed through effective treatment of the offenders by mental health professionals.
