About
Emma, a registered psychologist, transitioned from working with young offenders using the Solution Focused approach to joining the family harm team in 2018. She initiated the “Conversations in Custody” project to engage with individuals in police custody and offers Solution Focused training to the police. Recently, Emma accepted the role of Senior Organisational Psychologist at the Royal New Zealand Police College, aiming to expand the use of the Solution Focused approach. She has presented at international conferences and holds key positions in associations related to Solution Focused therapy. Additionally, Emma collaborates with Victim Support to provide training on suicide prevention.
