Dr. Doreen Fleet is a Chartered Psychologist and a BACP (Accred.) Therapist. She began private practice as a counselor in 2006 and was a Senior Lecturer for Staffordshire University between 2008 and 2020 and a Senior Fellow with the Higher Education Academy. Currently, she is a visiting lecturer at Chester University, a PhD research supervisor, and an Internal Examiner for PhD research. Her book on Pluralistic Sand-Tray Therapy was published by Routledge and is now available. Doreen has published papers on intentional self-harm, the dual role of counselor-researcher, the pluralistic theoretical framework of sand-tray therapy, and has a paper due out this Autumn (2023) on grounded theory in qualitative research in the counseling field.
