Courtney Armstrong, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with over 25 years’ experience who specializes in grief and trauma recovery. She is a bestselling author of the books, Rethinking Trauma Treatment (2019), The Therapeutic “Aha,” (2015) and Transforming Traumatic Grief (2011) and contributes to publications such as the Psychotherapy Networker, Counseling Today, and The Science of Psychotherapy. Courtney is also founder of the Institute for Trauma Informed Hypnotherapy through which she’s trained thousands of clinicians worldwide and has developed clinical hypnosis training programs for the US Veterans Administration. She is a certified by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis where she serves as an Approved Consultant on their Education and Training Committee.
