ATSA New York & ALLIANCE looking for nominations for the annual Fay Honey Knopp Award


The New York chapter of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers and the New York State Alliance of Sexual Offender Service Providers are looking for nominations for two awards to be presented at their annual conference in June.

The Fay Honey Knopp Award commemorates the memory of Fay Honey Knopp’s advocacy, support and vision of compassion and caring in the treatment of individuals who have engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior; and her caring, support and mentoring of individuals taking on the challenge of caring for this clinical population. The Fay Honey Knopp Award will be presented to a person studying, working or volunteering in the field of sexual abuser treatment, research or sexual abuse research whose work exemplifies the qualities and vision of human goodness that Fay Honey Knopp brought to the field and whose work and spirit is an inspiration to others.

The Marilyn Etcheverry Award of Excellence is given annually to an individual or program delivering service in the field of evaluation and treatment of sex offenders which has been identified as having performed exemplary work
