Amber Schroeder is the Executive Director of the Association for the Treatment & Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA) and has a wealth of nonprofit experience at the national, state and local level. Prior to ATSA, Amber served as the executive director of Harbor House where she led a staff of 40 to serve victim-survivors of domestic and sexual abuse by providing a variety of services including one-to-one advocacy, support groups, legal and housing support, emergency shelter, crisis advocacy as well as providing services and support for those who use abusive behaviors. Prior to joining Harbor House, Amber worked for a variety of nonprofits including Badgers United, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Madison Area Builders Association.
Amber is a co-founder and board member for Just Jess Foundation, a nonprofit that provides families who have a parent with a critical cancer diagnosis the opportunity to experience a family vacation together, in memory of her best friend, Jess Haag. She also volunteers as a coach for youth basketball.
