On Monday, July 31, Jill Levenson, Gwenda Willis and David Prescott paid a visit to the Safer Society offices in Brandon, Vermont. While the three have worked as a team to write the forthcoming book Trauma-Informed Care, they have ventured from the far corners of the earth for the visit. Jill from Florida; David from Maine; and Gwen all the way from New Zealand.

Later that day, Jill presented a workshop on how to apply trauma-informed practice in a mentoring environment to a group of 40 mentors and guidance counselors from around Vermont. The event was sponsored by the Fay Honey Knopp Institute of the Safer Society Foundation.
Trauma-Informed Care: Transforming Treatment for People Who Have Sexually Abused by Jill Levenson, Gwenda Willis and David Prescott, will be available by mid-August.
