Dr. Janet DiGiorgio-Miller is a licensed psychologist in private practice in New Jersey. She conducts evaluations and treatment for sex offenders.  She has over thirty years of clinical experience in working with adolescents and families. She has been a frequent presenter both locally and nationally on various topics including reunification, relationship issues and mindfulness. Dr. DiGiorgio-Miller has publications in the field of sexual offending including research on emotional variables and deviant sexual fantasies in adolescent sex offenders. Dr. DiGiorgio-Miller also has publications regarding mindfulness and sexual offending. She published a self-help book for young adults called “A Great Relationship & Then Some.” Dr. DiGiorgio-Miller was past president and secretary of the New Jersey Chapter of The Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, (NJATSA) and has served on the board for many years. She is a Representative At Large on the ATSA Board of Directors. She is the Chair of the ATSA Ethics Committees. Dr. DiGiorgio-Miller is on the Child and Adolescent Committee and the Chair of the Best Practices Subcommittee.

Dr. Deirdre D’Orazio is a clinical and forensic psychologist in state service and private practice. She is employed by the California Department of State Hospitals, where she has held a variety of positions over the past twenty-two years servicing forensically committed individuals, including as director of the sexual offense treatment program and evaluation services, civil commitment evaluator, and currently as Assistant Chief Psychologist with the Community Forensic Partnerships division. She is president of the California Association for Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse and sits on the leadership boards for the California Sex Offender Management Board, the Sexual Offender Civil Commitment Network, and the California Juvenile Justice Advisory Board. Dr. D’Orazio is a recipient of the Fay Honey Knopp Award by the California Coalition on Sexual Offending for positive and sustained contributions to the field of sexual offense intervention. Dr. D’Orazio has publications, professional trainings, media interviews, and research in the areas of sexual offense risk assessment, paraphilic disorders, best practices in sexual offense-specific treatment, sexual abuse disclosures, abuse prevention, and professional ethics and supervision. Dr. D’Orazio has provided program evaluation and development consultancy internationally and evaluations, expert witness testimony, and direct treatment services for more than 2,000 individuals who have perpetrated or been harmed by violent or sexual crimes. She holds psychologist licenses in California, Minnesota, and North Dakota and is a certified trainer for multiple risk assessment tools.

Dr. Jill Levenson, PhD, LCSW, is a renowned expert in Trauma-informed Care and a Professor at Barry University in Miami. She is a certified TIC instructor, specializing in applying TIC in various settings. Dr. Levenson’s extensive work includes over 120 articles, 25 chapters, and 6 books. Her research has been funded by prestigious organizations like NIJ, NSVRC, and CDC. Recognized for her contributions, she has received awards such as the Social Worker of the Year Award from NASW-FL and a Lifetime Achievement Award from ATSA. Dr. Levenson is also a member of the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare. She has conducted trainings globally and advocates for social justice and trauma-informed care.

Becky Palmer, MS is currently in practice as a private consultant and trainer. Formerly the Sr. VP of Clinical at Alternative Behavior Treatment Centers.  Ms. Palmer did her post-graduate training in marriage and family therapy at the Institute for Juvenile Research (the University of Illinois) where she had been adjunct faculty in the Family Systems Program.  Ms. Palmer previously was an adjunct faculty at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, where she taught Psychotherapy of the Sex Offender and Abusive Family Systems.  Ms. Palmer has presented trainings and workshops, both regionally, nationally, and internationally, on marital therapy with survivors of sexual abuse, parenting sexually abused and reactive children, working with abusive family systems, sex offender treatment and evaluation, ethics, family reintegration, and compassion fatigue.  Ms. Palmer has also consulted with religious organizations when there has been abuse by clergy or within the church community.  Becky’s trainings have been provided to an array of groups and individuals in the professional service field, such as court personnel, probation/parole officers, attorneys, judges, foster parents, childcare workers, and other therapists.  Ms. Palmer has also made several media appearances in Chicago to help educate the public about sexual abuse.
