Here’s a little inside information about how things work at Safer Society Press. Our books are shipped from the printer to a company in Michigan, which warehouses them for us. That company also packs and ships many of our orders, especially the larger quantities of workbooks. They provide these services to many publishers. They managed to get through most of last year during the pandemic keeping things going pretty smoothly. But over the last few months the pandemic and the growing demand for online ordering and shipping has begun to take a toll. We just received word from them that their shipping is running about a week behind schedule.

We wanted to let you know about this situation so you can manage your expectations about when you might receive your order, and — more importantly – to urge you to plan ahead. We have been assured by our warehouse/shipping company that they are working hard to ramp up staffing and to catch up so that orders can ship in a timelier fashion. Until then please give yourself at least a three-week buffer when restocking your workbooks. Or for any other large orders you might be planning.
